Description: The following is an edited
extract from the 1/52 Inf S2/3 Journal. At 0825hrs, a Warlord team reported they were on station and will conduct a VR in
the assigned AO. 0920hrs, C Co. at location BT181110 detained 1 VC wearing green uniform. 0930hrs, C Co. observed in the vicinity
of BT181110 approximately 15 enemy camouflaged soldiers moving to SE from approximately BT183112. They called the Warlords
to engage. 0930hrs the Warlords were diverted to support C Co. [The journals for the previous two days contain several enemy
unit sightings by C Co.] 0945hrs the Warlords engaged the enemy unit in the vicinity of BT183112. They have 1 enemy KIA and
observed two additional people on ground evading. 0950hrs detainee was evaced to LZ Professional. [Later in the journal we
read: at 1100hrs detainee gave the following information during interrogation: BT1514 element of 74th NVA Bn. BT202148 74th
NVA BN. BT243115 another NVA unit. At 1350hrs detainee was evaced to Brigade.] 0955hrs the Warlord team broke station. 1113hrs
the Warlords reported on station and will work with C Co. 1120hrs C Co. at location BT184105 detained 1 VN approximately 45yrs
old with no ID. 1145hrs detainee was evacuated to LZ Professional by Warlords and later at 1350hrs he was evacuated to Brigade.
1200hrs the Warlords engaged 2 enemy in the vicinity of BT195102. Results: 2 VC KIA and the Warlord team broke station. 1200hrs
C Co. at location BT185105 engaged 3 enemy with small arms fire at a distance of approximately 100 meters. Results: 1 VC killed,
1 AK47 captured serial number 1963 by 1534. The enemy were moving west along a trail when they saw C Co. and attempted to
evade. 1245hrs C Co. observed approximately 15 enemy in a wood line at vicinity BT186105 from approximately 100 meters away.
Artillery was fired. C Co. checked the area but found nothing. 1440hrs the Warlords reported on station in the vicinity of
BT1810. The 1/52 Inf Bn instructed them to work again with C Co. 1600hrs the Warlords broke station and reported the following
results: BT165105 observed several tunnels, BT205013 destroyed 3 camouflaged hooches, BT185081 snatched 1 military age male,
evacated to LZ Professional. 1820hrs C Co. reported while moving into their night location vicinity BT187094 they saw 1 VC
running 200-300 meters west of their location. They engaged with small arms fire resulting in 1 enemy KIA. While checking
the area they found 1 female hiding a ruck sack with canteens and a green uniform. She was detained and will be evaced in
the morning. 2040hrs, C Co. requesting Warlords cover for their river crossing in the morning. Request approved by Brigade.

Description: The following is an edited extract from
the 1/52 Inf S2/3 Journal. At 0915hrs a Warlord team reported on station. 0940hrs B Co. at location BT131068 received approximately
15-20 rounds of sniper fire from vicinity of BT128070 approximate range 300 meters. The Warlords in area worked the enemy
location, results unknown. 1005hrs the Warlords broke station 1415hrs B Co. found 1 enemy body believed killed by Warlords.
The enemy soldier was wearing green uniform believed NVA. 1345hrs D Co. at location BT225115 receiving sniper fire from vicinity
BT232117 approximate range 500 meters. Artillery was fired. 1350hrs D. Co. believes there are approximately 20-25 enemy with
AK47s and about 3 machine guns at grid BT233117. 1350hrs Gunships requested from Brigade. 1355hrs Gunships scrambled, en route
to D Co. 1400hrs D Co. observes approximately 12 enemy wearing blank PJs with packs and weapons running between hooches near
BT233117. 1420hrs Brigade gunships ETA 15 min, no reason given for delay. Contact broken, receiving no incoming rounds. 1435hrs
gunships report on station working w/D Co. 1440hrs D Co. moving towards area of contact. 1455hrs gunships broke station

Description: The following is an edited extract from the 1/52 Inf S2/3 Journal. 1325hrs a Warlord team reported on station
to VR valley to the south of LZ Bowman vicinity of BT2311, 2411, and 2412. They will also work the valley east of Professional
vicinity of BT2107 and 2207. 1445hrs at BT267128 they destroyed raft on the river and at BT276122 they destroyed several hooches,
then they broke station. 1455hrs, a utility helicopter supporting this unit at BT204078 observed and engaged 2 enemy running
into hooch. Results: 2 VC KIA

Description: The following is an edited extract from the 1/52 Inf S2/3 Journal. At 0822hrs D Co. reports on airlift of
their elements from LZ Bowman to LZ Young. The first PZ was a 0822hrs and the first LZ 0827hrs with the last LZ at 0847hrs.
0901hrs Minuteman 592 reported the C&C Aircraft near BT166044 engaged 3 enemy with packs, 2 in black and 1 in green uniforms.
Results: 2 VC KIA. Enemy in green escaped into river. 1050hrs C Co. reported one of its elements at BT162102 reported being
pinned down by M79 & AK47 from approximately 40 enemy wearing green uniforms with weapons and rucksacks at grid BT161104.
They had 1 NVA KIA so far and requested gunships from Brigade. 1055hrs 2 US WHA slight shrapnel wounded in back. 1058hrs artillery
fired. 1058hrs C&C on station. 1115hrs Warlords on station, broke station 1200hrs. The previously pinned down element
checked area with no significant results. 1215hrs a utility helicopter supporting this unit received several rounds of sniper
fire from BT238113.

extract from the 1/52 Inf S2/3 Journal. At 1038hrs a utility helicopter supporting this unit reported and engaged 3 enemy
at BT212101. They were wearing black and were moving SW attempted to evade. Results: 1 VC KIA. 1330hrs a Warlords team reported
on station for VR in 1-52 AO. 1420hrs they detained 1 Vietnamese military age male attempted to evade at BT258078. 1450hrs
evaced detainee to LZ Professional and hence to Brigade at 1630hrs. 1440hrs at BT258093 Warlords observed 6 NVA wearing green
uniforms with packs and 1 weapon. Results: 3 NVA KIA, 1 M16 CIA, 4 hooches destroyed. At BT157087 they observed 1 rucksack.
At BT164097 destroyed 1 camouflaged hooch. 1450hrs the Warlords broke station. The captured M16 was SN 886668. 1505hrs a utility
helicopter supporting this unit reported observing 3 VC moving west along a trail at BT236119. 1 in blue uniform, 1 in black,
1 in white. All attempted to evade. Results: 1 VC KIA
